Description
Living Nature - Sugar Glider: 26cmThey are furry, tiny enough to fit in the palm of your hand and can glide through the air!
Often compared with flying squirrels, sugar gliders are more closely related to other marsupials like kangaroos. As nocturnal animals, they see well in the dark with their big black eyes.
They have mostly grey fur but their underbellies are white, their heads have black stripes.
Sugar gliders have opposable thumbs and four fingers on both hands and feet. Each finger has a sharp toe that can hook like Velcro to most non-slick surfaces.
